History
-OTL Minot, ND
-founded as terminus of American Infrastructure > Pembina Pacific Railroad
-other end being St. Paul
-selected by American Presidents > 1845-1852 Daniel Webster (Unionist) †
-as he owns a fuckton of land there which government now has to buy at a ridiculous premium
-Websteropolis pops up in 1850s as important trading post
-and booms as furthest west town of US east of Olympia exclave - and only real town in the Interior
-with Nibrasca and later Kances bleeding into violence between free staters funded by New Englander bigwigs, and Missourian slave lords with coffles, it gets pretty violent, and so Websteropolis remains way bigger
-shaped by New Englander settlement from St. Paul
-as well as British nonconformists from there, and some Germans
-Websteropolis booms further in years after the Liberty and Union War (1868-76)
-as a direct result of railroad
-however, with Country folders/United States/Economy/Mineral rushes > Pikes Peak Gold Rush (1878) the rise of Tahosa makes that the center of the Parts of the United States of America > Interior rather than Websteropolis
-but city is still great and continues to boom
-settlement continues apace albeit largely in the towns and their hinterlands
-sees network of roads and all that extending from the city, to connect it to more easterly rail links, and which makes it distribution center of the northeast part of the Interior
